Hope After Abortion

While not everyone regrets abortion, many do. If you have had an abortion, know someone who has, or have been affected by abortion in any other way, you are not alone and we want to help you.  There is support, and there is healing.  Talking with someone about your experience is a great place to start! We know places where you can find compassionate, confidential and helpful support.

Project Rachel provides post-abortive help for women and men who are hurting as a result of a past abortion experience. Men or women may call the private, confidential helpline at 1-888-355-1110 to connect with a volunteer. For help in the London area, learn more on their Facebook page or website. If you are outside of London, learn more at their general website.

Silent No More Awareness is an organization formed by individuals who have been touched by abortion.  They provide post-abortive support, and allow women and men affected by abortion to share their stories of regret and healing.  Learn more at their website.

For support on campus, or simply someone to talk with, please feel free to contact Western Lifeline via email (lifeline.western@gmail.com), and Maria McCann (Club President) will be in contact with you.

If you are in crisis and seeking immediate aid, please call 911. If you are experiencing mental health issues and are looking for help, please call the Mental Health Helpline at 1-866-531-2600 (a toll-free, 24/7 helpline for Ontario). We care about you. Your life matters.
